OUTDOOR PLEIN AIR EVENT

Eigse’s first ever “Plein Air event” hosted in conjunction with Pompei restaurant provides artists with the opportunity to participate in a living art event on the shores of the River Barrow.

Sunday 12th June will be an occasion you won’t see very often and you will be offered the best seat in the open! Events happening that day include an inflatable Water Park in the River Barrow, a full day of carnival activities in the Town Park (across the water) with lots of fun, colour and hopefully good weather! We would love you to be a part of this day, to increase awareness of the arts, especially visual arts, and to really give the festival a lift with the presence of live visual artists.

Bring your easel, dust down your paint box and get out and join us for an afternoon of creative engagement. Even if you are not inclined to participate, come along as a spectator. Participating artists can avail of discounted food at Pompei on Sun 12th if registered in advance at info@eigsecarlow.ie or by calling 059-9140491.

A meet and greet session begins at 11.30am at Pompei Restaurant on Centaur Street, with free tea and coffee. We’re looking forward to sharing our passion for visual arts with you.
