To celebrate the ‘Year of Craft’, Kilgraney House Gallery and Éigse Carlow Arts Festival host an exhibition of ceramic art and visual art pieces. Designers Martin Marley and Bryan Leech join forces with local and international artists and crafts people to present an exhibition that questions the boundaries between the creative disciplines of design, craft and visual art. The exhibition features collaborations between traditional crafts, visual arts and various design disciplines and aims to explore and expand the perceived boundaries between them. Established in 2009, Kilgraney House Gallery is located in a series of herb gardens providing both indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces. The gallery offers a platform for both local and international artists and crafts people to exhibit their works in an idyllic setting.
