The title ‘Civilizing the Wilderness’ is a broad curatorial theme for the Éigse 2012 Open Submission, which will be exhibited in the Studio Gallery in VISUAL Centre for Contemporary Art  from Saturday 9th June-Sunday 26th August 2012.  The Éigse Award of €3000 will be presented for the ‘most outstanding work in any medium’ at the Opening of the Festival on Friday 8th June 2012. All works exhibited at the Festival will be available to purchase.
